Inspired by Emily Henderson - My Succulent Garden ;)

Hello Lovelies,
I was inspired by Emily Henderson again;)

She made this video on how to create your own succulent garden, with some vintage planters.
Nothing extraordinary but I kind of felt inspired by all the greens.
And I am in need of some pretty greens;)
Here is the video and after you watched it I will show you how my garden looks like.

Great, right?
Love her;)

And here is mine...

My old planter, love em, I used this thin as a fruit bowl.
Some different succulents and some soil for the cactus family ;)

Put some "dirt" in it and place your succulents as you like...

some here, and some there...

And your garden is ready!

Love the result, the different greens and shapes.

I changed my previous table decoration and used the planter as a center piece!

I love, my pretty little garden;)
Now I have to make some more for the bedroom and studio!
What do you think of succulents?
Love em as much as I do?
Please tell me, I love to hear from you!

Kitchen at my client`s space, before and after.

Hello Lovelies,
as I promised here are the before and after photos of the new kitchen.
At my client`s space of course.
Here are the before and during photos and of course the after.
( I apologize for some shaky and blurry photos, but I took them with my phone)

This here was the before, a tiny space, used as the library,
unfortunately my client`s decided to get rid of the books,
sold some and for some loved ones,
found a new shelf.

This space would be the new kitchen!

You can see the old shelves on the left side of the room.
The old floor was a mismatched tile all over the space, including the living room, bedroom and hall.
So it is now covered with a nice wooden floor, which looks incredible pretty.;)

Here is the floor in it`s full glory;)

What we did in this space was simply covered the old tiles,
painted the ceiling and walls.
Installed the IKEA kitchen, added some trim,
build some shelves from reclaimed wood and changed the old ceiling lights.
And here it is! ;)

There you have a little peek into the hall.

Can you see the ceiling trim?
I love it.

Here are the shelves.

And the is the new kitchen.
Like I said in the previous post, this room need a cute rug and with it it will be finished and perfect.
But we haven`t found the piece yet.
So for now it will look like this;)

So, what do you think?
I kind of was not so pleaded with the cabinet`s color, but you get used to it.

Any suggestions?
I would love to read your comments!;)

First Project of 2015! ;)

Hello my Lovelies,
lets start this year with a pretty simple and easy DIY!
Shall we?!;)
I think this was the easiest one I ever did.
Since I´ve sold my Jelly painting, I didin`t found a replacement for it.

The wall is used as a photo backdrop for my several paintings.
I wanted to braid a macrame for a long time, something like this...

As I got my yarn and stuff, I found some old fake capiz shells, already hung op an some strings...
So I changed my mind and made an "Capiz Macrame"!
Not braided of course but I gave em kind of a shape as seen above.
What I used:
A scissor, capiz shells a carved wooden rail and really thin wire.

I Simply put everything down on the floor and measured how log I wanted it to be, cut the wire and
rearranged the shells.
Than tied two loops which were former attached to the shells on to the rail and hung it up on my wall.
Simple and easy;)

It doesn`t look too perfect or even bit I like it that way;)

I love how the shells bounce back the light and the slight shimmer and glitz.

So what do you think of my latest DIY?
Like it?
Maybe I will braid one of the original macrame`s you`ll never know;)
Love to hear from you;)
